Heroic 'Knight's Odyssey 3' Continues to Make a Difference in Gaza
The UAE continues its massive humanitarian effort in Gaza through Operation "Gallant Knight 3," which delivered crucial aid to displaced families during its 106th week. The operation provided 55 tents for displaced people, distributed over 32,000 relief packages across 106 camps, and maintained daily food services for more than 235,000 people through 61 community kitchens.
The numbers show the scale of this operation. Twelve bakeries produced nearly 8,000 loaves of bread daily, directly feeding around 39,675 people. Teams distributed food, medical supplies, clothing, and other essentials to the most vulnerable families across Gaza's refugee camps.
This week, the operation launched seven new humanitarian initiatives and responded to 681 appeals for help. Five official delegations visited the operation, praising its central role in coordinating relief efforts for Gaza.
The UAE also wrapped up the second batch of its "Youth Social Missions Program" as part of the Gaza relief operation. Young Emiratis spent a week doing field work in El Arish, Egypt, learning about humanitarian work firsthand. They packed food parcels and prepared trucks heading to Gaza, seeing how their efforts directly impact people's lives.
This program aims to train and prepare Emirati youth for active participation in social missions worldwide. The participants got hands-on experience at the logistics center, working alongside seasoned aid workers to understand the complex process of delivering humanitarian assistance.
The operation reflects the UAE's broader humanitarian approach, focusing on providing dignity and essential services to those affected by the crisis in Gaza. The sustained effort over 106 weeks shows the country's commitment to long-term humanitarian support rather than short-term aid.
Food security remains a top priority, with the community kitchens serving as lifelines for families who have lost their homes and livelihoods. The daily bread production and meal services provide stability in an otherwise chaotic situation for hundreds of thousands of people.
