Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Fujairah, received Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, along with his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place with Sheikh Saleh bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Industry and Economy Department, in attendance.
During the session, Al Yamahi provided a detailed briefing on various Arab issues and regional political developments. He outlined the current situation and recent changes affecting the political landscape across the Middle East.
Sheikh Hamad emphasized the critical need for coordinated Arab action through the Arab Parliament to serve regional causes. He stressed that the security and stability of the region forms an integral part of Arab national security - a view that reflects the UAE's consistent approach to regional cooperation.

This meeting comes at a time when Arab nations face multiple challenges, from ongoing conflicts to economic pressures. The Arab Parliament, established in 2005, serves as a consultative body aimed at promoting Arab unity and coordination on key issues.
For the UAE, such diplomatic engagements reinforce its position as a stable partner in regional affairs. The country has consistently advocated for peaceful solutions and dialogue-based approaches to Middle Eastern challenges.
