Wet Weather and Temperature Drops Expected in Upcoming Week
The UAE's National Weather Center forecasts scattered rainfall across various regions this week, with temperatures dropping and increased wind activity. Eastern and southern areas are expected to see the most precipitation, while coastal regions will experience morning humidity and possible fog formation.
Rain is expected to hit some eastern and southern regions today, Sunday, with a slight temperature drop accompanying the wet weather. The rainfall comes as part of a broader weather pattern bringing cumulus cloud formation and more active wind conditions across the country.
Monday's weather will bring humid morning conditions along coastal areas, with fog or light mist possible in these zones. The day will be clear to partly cloudy, but cumulus clouds are likely to form in eastern, northern, and some southern regions. These cloud formations could produce rainfall in affected areas.
Tuesday follows a similar pattern, with cumulus clouds potentially bringing more rain to eastern and southern parts of the UAE. The weather system appears to be concentrated in these regions throughout the early part of the week.
By Wednesday, morning humidity will affect both coastal and inland areas. The day starts clear to partly cloudy, but clouds are expected to appear in eastern and southern regions during the afternoon hours. Winds will shift from southeasterly to northwesterly, ranging from light to moderate speeds of 10-25 km/h, occasionally reaching 35 km/h. Sea conditions will be light to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and light in the Sea of Oman.
Thursday brings back the familiar pattern of morning humidity along the coast, with possible fog or light mist formation. The day will be clear to partly cloudy overall. Winds will blow from the southeast to northeast at light to moderate speeds, similar to Wednesday's conditions, ranging from 10-25 km/h and sometimes reaching 35 km/h.
This weather pattern reflects typical seasonal changes in the region, where increased humidity and rainfall often accompany shifts in wind patterns and temperature. The concentration of rain in eastern and southern areas suggests the weather system is moving from these directions across the country.
