UAE Celebrates 54th National Day with Healthy Activities
The Emirates Health Services (EHS) celebrated the UAE's 54th Union Day at its Dubai headquarters, bringing together senior leadership and staff to mark more than five decades of national progress since the country's founding fathers established the federation.
Dr. Youssef Mohammed Al Serkal, Director General of EHS, led the celebration alongside executive directors, department heads, and employees. The event also welcomed some of the organization's clients who joined the festivities.
During his speech, Al Serkal extended congratulations to the UAE's leadership, calling Union Day "an eternal national milestone that embodies the strength of the union and its inspiring developmental journey." He emphasized how the celebration reflects loyalty and belonging to the nation and its wise leadership.
Al Serkal highlighted the UAE's remarkable progress and pioneering achievements, crediting the wise approach established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his fellow founding fathers. Their vision laid the foundation for the country's development over the past five decades.
The celebration wasn't limited to the headquarters. Health facilities across all seven emirates organized special events featuring national, cultural, and heritage activities. These programs aimed to strengthen national identity, showcase union values, and preserve Emirati heritage.
The widespread participation across EHS facilities demonstrates how government institutions continue to play a role in maintaining national unity and cultural identity, even as the UAE has grown into a major regional hub for healthcare, business, and innovation.
