The Trends Research and Advisory Center won the Kuwait Innovation Award 2025 at its thirteenth edition, recognizing the think tank's significant contributions to regional policy research and strategic analysis. The award ceremony took place in Kuwait, hosted by the Arab Media Forum.
Dr. Nasser Mohsen, Kuwait's Deputy Minister of Information, and Madi Al-Khamis, Secretary-General of the Arab Media Forum, attended the ceremony alongside prominent intellectual, media, and cultural leaders from across the Arab world.
The award recognizes Trends' role as one of the region's leading think tanks. The center has built a reputation for producing rigorous research and strategic analysis that helps policymakers understand regional and international challenges. Their work focuses on forecasting future developments and providing actionable insights for decision-makers.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of Trends Research and Advisory Center, expressed pride in the achievement. He said the award represents recognition of the institution's commitment to quality and innovation, reflecting their dedication to producing reliable knowledge and deep strategic insights.
The Kuwait Innovation Award launched in 2009 as an initiative of the Arab Media Forum. It honors excellence across multiple fields including media, culture, arts, advertising, sports, and entrepreneurship. The award also supports youth initiatives, aiming to foster creativity and encourage young talent to pursue excellence.
Al-Khamis noted that Trends has made diverse intellectual contributions across various fields and effectively promoted constructive dialogue between media and intellectual institutions through its events and research products. The center's work spans regional security issues, economic analysis, and social trends affecting the Middle East and broader international community.
This recognition comes at a time when think tanks play an increasingly important role in helping governments and organizations navigate complex geopolitical challenges. The award highlights the growing influence of regional research institutions in shaping policy discussions and providing alternative perspectives on global issues.
