Sharjah to Krabi: Arabian Air Launches Daily Flights for Seamless Travel
Air Arabia launched its first daily direct flights between Sharjah and Krabi, Thailand yesterday, creating a new air bridge between the UAE and Thailand's southern coast. The move expands travel options for passengers while strengthening commercial ties between the two countries.
Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Transport Minister Vibhavadi Rangsit joined senior Air Arabia officials and Krabi airport representatives to welcome the inaugural flight from Sharjah International Airport.
Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group, said the new Krabi route marks another step in the airline's Southeast Asia expansion plans. The daily service gives customers more flexible travel options and strengthens growing tourism and trade links between the UAE and Thailand.
With Krabi now joining Bangkok and Phuket in Air Arabia's network from Sharjah, travelers can reach Thailand's most popular destinations more easily. The airline has been steadily building its presence in Southeast Asia, where demand for UAE connections continues growing.
Krabi attracts visitors with its limestone cliffs, clear waters, and island-hopping opportunities. The direct connection eliminates the need for stopovers, making the destination more accessible to UAE-based travelers and potentially boosting tourist numbers.
For Air Arabia, the route fits its strategy of connecting secondary cities with popular leisure destinations. The carrier has found success linking Sharjah with vacation spots across Asia, offering an alternative to Dubai-based competitors while serving price-conscious travelers.
