Partly Cloudy Skies Ahead: Your Local Weather Forecast
UAE Weather: Light Fog and Humid Conditions Expected Across Coastal Areas
The UAE's National Center of Meteorology forecasts partly cloudy to clear skies for tomorrow, with afternoon cloud formation in eastern regions and humid conditions overnight into Tuesday morning. Coastal and inland areas may experience fog or light fog formation, while winds will remain light to moderate with occasional strengthening during daytime hours.
Wind Patterns and Maritime Conditions
Wind directions will shift from southeast to northwest, with speeds ranging between 10-25 km/h and potentially reaching up to 35 km/h during peak periods. Both the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman will experience light wave conditions, making it favorable for maritime activities.
Tide Schedules
In the Arabian Gulf, the first high tide occurs at 13:55, followed by a second at 01:37. Low tides are scheduled for 19:31 and 07:47. The Sea of Oman will see high tides at 09:55 and 22:53, with low tides at 16:16 and 04:23.
Temperature and Humidity Breakdown by City
Temperature variations across the Emirates will be moderate, with most coastal cities reaching similar highs around 40°C. Here's what to expect in major locations:
Major Cities
Abu Dhabi: High of 41°C, low of 30°C, with humidity ranging from 30% to 85%
Dubai: Temperatures between 30-40°C, humidity levels from 25% to 85%
Sharjah: Similar to Dubai with a high of 40°C and low of 29°C
Inland and Desert Areas
Liwa will experience the highest temperatures at 43°C during the day, dropping to 27°C overnight. The area will see significant humidity variation from 20% to 85%, typical of desert regions where moisture accumulates during cooler hours.
Al Ain expects temperatures reaching 41°C with relatively lower humidity levels, ranging from just 15% to 70% - making it one of the more comfortable locations in terms of perceived temperature.
Eastern Coast
Fujairah stands out with cooler conditions, reaching only 33°C as the high temperature. However, humidity remains consistently elevated between 55% and 85%, which is characteristic of the eastern coastal region facing the Sea of Oman.
What This Means for Daily Activities
The combination of moderate temperatures and high humidity, particularly in coastal areas, will create muggy conditions during evening and early morning hours. The potential for fog formation suggests reduced visibility for early morning commuters, especially along coastal highways.
Outdoor activities are best planned for mid-morning to early afternoon when humidity levels drop and before the evening moisture buildup begins. The light wind conditions provide some relief but won't significantly impact the overall comfort levels in humid zones.
