Inaugural Edition of Al Ain International Hunt and Equestrian Event Sees Record-Breaking Attendance
The first Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition wrapped up after five days, drawing over 116,000 visitors and 873 exhibitors from 12 countries. The event, held under the patronage of Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, showcased traditional Emirati culture through falconry, equestrian sports, and outdoor activities at the ADNEC Al Ain center.
The exhibition covered 24,000 square meters and set a new attendance record for events at the venue. Visitors experienced 14 specialized sectors featuring everything from falconry equipment to luxury equestrian gear, traditional crafts, and camping supplies.
"This exhibition brings together falcon hunting enthusiasts, outdoor activity lovers, and equestrian sports fans under one roof," said Majed Ali Al Mansoori, Secretary General of the Emirates Falconers' Club. The event went beyond promoting traditional activities to foster community connection and exploration, he added.
The exhibition attracted families, professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts from across the region. Interactive displays allowed direct engagement with exhibitors, showcasing innovations designed for both experts and hobbyists. Traditional Emirati handicrafts sat alongside modern camping gear and recreational vehicles, creating a blend of heritage and innovation.
Daily cultural events ran throughout the exhibition, organized with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority. These included traditional Emirati cooking competitions featuring recipes passed down through generations, and "Al Yowlah" folk performance contests that gave young Emiratis a platform to showcase traditional arts.
Arabic coffee workshops highlighted its cultural significance in Emirati hospitality traditions. Abu Dhabi Police and Al Ain Youth Council held educational sessions covering various topics to boost community awareness.
Hamid Matar Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNEC Group, emphasized the exhibition's role in supporting economic growth and business tourism in the UAE. The record visitor numbers confirm Al Ain's growing appeal as a destination for culture, heritage, and outdoor activities.
The event featured collaborations with multiple organizations including Abu Dhabi Culture and Tourism, Premier Motors, Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, and several perfume companies like Retaj Al Oud and Super Oud Perfumes. Abu Dhabi Police and Al Ain Municipality ensured smooth operations and visitor safety.
Based on this year's success, organizers announced the exhibition will return to ADNEC Al Ain in 2026, promising an even larger event for hunting, falconry, equestrian, and outdoor activity enthusiasts.
