Empowering Emirati Women: 3rd 'Inspiring Emirati Women' Summit Kicks Off on November 12th

The UAE is hosting its third annual "Inspiring Emirati Women" summit on November 12 at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi. Under the patronage of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, known as the "Mother of the Emirates," the event brings together over 600 influential figures to celebrate Emirati women's achievements and their growing impact across various sectors.

This year's summit carries the theme "Unleash Your Impact," highlighting how Emirati women are making significant contributions to their society. The event is organized through a partnership between the General Women's Union, the Supreme Committee of Motherhood and Childhood, and PureHealth Group, the Middle East's largest healthcare network.

Noura Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women's Union, said the summit reflects Sheikha Fatima's vision of empowering Emirati women. "Thanks to her continuous support, Emirati women have become a global model of ambition, leadership, and community service," Al Suwaidi explained. She emphasized that these women can turn positive influence into concrete achievements that support sustainable development.

The summit features a full day of discussions, dialogue sessions, training workshops, and mental exercises designed to foster collaboration among change-makers who play active roles in the country's growth and innovation. The program aims to strengthen communication and cooperation between participants from diverse backgrounds.

Shaista Asif, CEO of PureHealth Group, highlighted the significance of honoring inspiring Emirati women who make positive impacts in their daily lives. The healthcare executive praised Emirati women's determination, perseverance, and flexibility in shaping progress for future generations.

A notable highlight of this year's event is the graduation of the second batch from the "Emirati Women's Journey" program. Launched in 2024 by five inspiring Emirati leaders in collaboration with the General Women's Union, this program focuses on empowering Emirati women across different sectors through mentorship, opportunities, and guidance.

Since its inception, the summit has grown into an influential national movement that embodies Emirati women's aspirations while amplifying their voices and showcasing their achievements.
