Emirati Field Hospital in Gaza Welcomes International Humanitarian Missions
The UAE's field hospital in Gaza continues to host international humanitarian missions as part of a broader relief effort that now includes ambulance donations and massive supply shipments. The coordination highlights growing international cooperation in providing medical and humanitarian aid to Gaza residents facing harsh winter conditions and ongoing conflict.
An international mission overseeing the American "imc" hospital recently visited the UAE field hospital as part of Operation "Noble Knight 3." During the visit, the mission received two ambulances for transporting wounded patients and providing medical care. This exchange shows how different international efforts are working together on the ground.
The Sharjah Charity Association helped prepare contents for the tenth UAE relief ship departing from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi. The shipment was organized under direct guidance from UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and aims to help 50,000 people survive the harsh winter conditions.
Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Charity Association, said the ship carried 10,000 food packages for families' basic needs, 1,000 health packages with personal care and hygiene supplies, and 15,000 pieces of heavy winter clothing for children and elderly people. The association has provided 10 million dirhams in support since the crisis began, covering food, medical supplies, and urgent family needs.
In Dubai, the Dubai Charity Association organized a "Good Packages" event at Zayed University's Dubai campus. More than 600 volunteers from UAE citizens and residents packed 2,500 complete relief packages in record time. The packages included basic food supplies, necessary household items, and medical and first aid materials.
Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, said the event responds quickly to humanitarian duty calls and reflects the noble values instilled by UAE leadership. The effort is part of the organization's humanitarian mission and national responsibility to support people in Gaza.
These coordinated efforts show how UAE organizations are scaling up their Gaza relief operations as winter conditions worsen. The combination of field medical facilities, international partnerships, and large-scale supply shipments creates multiple channels for delivering aid to Gaza residents. The involvement of hundreds of volunteers also demonstrates significant public support for the humanitarian mission across different emirates.
