Dubai's Residence Stamps Feature 30th Global Village Logo for Unforgettable Experiences
Dubai's immigration authority is putting Global Village's 30th anniversary logo on all visas issued from the emirate and adding special passport stamps for arriving visitors. The move celebrates three decades of the cultural attraction while offering free entry to stamp holders during the first 10 days of the new season.
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, met with Global Village executives to announce the partnership. Starting October 15, anyone entering the UAE with the special Global Village passport stamp gets free admission for 10 days - but only once per stamp.
The initiative targets millions of travelers arriving in Dubai each year. Global Village draws massive crowds as one of the city's top tourist destinations, featuring pavilions from different countries, cultural shows, and entertainment that showcases international diversity.
For Dubai's tourism sector, this creates a direct pipeline from airport arrival to one of its flagship attractions. The timing aligns with Dubai's 2033 vision to strengthen its position as a global destination that blends culture, innovation, and quality of life.
Global Village operates seasonally and has become a cultural institution in Dubai over its 30-year run. The attraction brings together food, shopping, and entertainment from dozens of countries under one roof, making it a natural fit for Dubai's identity as a cultural crossroads.
The passport stamp initiative shows how Dubai integrates government services with private sector partnerships. By using immigration touchpoints as marketing opportunities, the emirate creates immediate awareness among international visitors about local attractions they might otherwise miss.
