Abu Dhabi University Empowers Future Leaders Through Pioneering Management Education
Abu Dhabi College of Management graduated 117 students from its master's programs this week, including specialized degrees in artificial intelligence and big data management. The ceremony, attended by UAE Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, reflects the country's push to build a workforce ready for the modern economy.
The graduation took place at Abu Dhabi's Cultural Center and marked another milestone for the college, which operates under the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Students earned degrees across five programs: MBA, Quality and Business Excellence, Leadership and Business Development, and Business Analytics with specializations in AI management and big data management.
Sheikh Nahyan used the occasion to emphasize the UAE's vision for higher education. He said universities and colleges should serve as "real centers of excellence" that produce graduates capable of innovation and scientific thinking. The minister stressed that graduates need to be ready for continuous learning and committed to contributing to the country's economic and social development.
This approach aligns with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's broader educational strategy. The UAE has been working to position its institutions as regional leaders in preparing students for a knowledge-based economy. The focus on AI and big data management reflects the country's recognition that these fields will drive future economic growth.
For businesses and government agencies, this graduation represents a fresh supply of locally trained talent in critical areas. The UAE has been investing heavily in digital transformation initiatives, and having graduates with specialized skills in data management and artificial intelligence helps reduce dependence on imported expertise.
The ceremony drew attendance from Dr. Tayyeb Kamali, chairman of the college's board of trustees, and Dr. Mark Bolin, acting president of the college. Government officials, educational institution leaders, and families of graduates also participated in the event.
Abu Dhabi College of Management continues to expand its programs to match market demands. The inclusion of AI and big data specializations shows how educational institutions are adapting their curricula to prepare students for emerging sectors that will likely dominate the regional economy in coming years.
